Welcome to Kirstine Agnethe Hansen who is new Research Assistant in Hanne Poulsen's team

Kirstine has just finished her master-degree in medicinal chemistry this summer and will now be continuing her project in Hanne Poulsen team as a research assistant. By electrophysiology methods and allosteric modulators, she will study C-terminal modulation of the NMDA receptors to shed light on the intrinsic disordered CTD and how it regulates the receptor activity. Additionally, she will be using Cryo-EM in a collaboration with Nissen group to solve the structure of NMDA receptors including the TMD-proximal part of the CTD to understand the coupling between these two domains.
