The days where people with a research background mostly stayed in academia or ended up teaching high school are gone. Today, the job possibilities for researchers are much more diverse and varied, both because researcher skills are much better understood and appreciated in industry than just 10 years ago, and also because the majority of research being done in Denmark is conducted outside of academia. For many researchers, it is often more difficult to decide on the job type and to find the right job than finding a job asking for a researcher background. In this presentation, I will come around some of the many fields where researchers find work and I will give you tips and tricks to how you yourself can uncover your many options.

Guest: Career Consultant Vibeke Broe
