Christian Fynbo Christiansen, staff specialist at Department of Clinical Epidemiology, has received a research award from Aarhus University Hospital for being the most publishing researcher under the age of 40. The award includes 250,000 DKK for continuing the research within critical illness and intensive care.

PhD student Morten Schmidt from Department of Clinical Epidemiology has received a grant of DKK 200,000 for a project on the incidence of and survival in relation to arteriosclerosis and atrial fibrillation in Denmark during a 25 year period and the effect that chronic diseases may have on the outcome of these diseases.
