On 10-12 June 2015, Interacting Minds Centre, Aarhus University, the Programme for Teacher Education, VIA University College, and Børns Livskundskab (The Danish Society for the Promotion of Life Wisdom in Children) are hosting a conference and workshops on relational competences, empathy and mindfulness in education.

New professor with focus on education in the health sciences

Charlotte Ringsted has recently been appointed professor in Health Sciences Education at CESU (Centre for Health Sciences Education) at Aarhus University. In addition to the professorship, Charlotte Ringsted is also vice-dean for education at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Aarhus University.

The Danish nasal filter is similar in size to a pair of contact lenses and it is placed in both nostrils. The nasal filter prevents inhalation of allergens – including grass pollen, which is one of the most frequent causes of outdoor allergies.

New research: Danish nasal filter more than halves symptoms of hay fever

Clinical trials carried out by Aarhus University show that the use of a mini filter prevents pollen inhalation and results in significantly fewer symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes and drowsiness. These results have just been presented in Barcelona.
