The Centre for Medical Education (MEDU) is changing its name to the Centre for Health Sciences Education (CESU). The change of name will highlight the fact that CESU is an interdisciplinary unit which carries out tasks for all departments and schools at Health.

Since 2008, Aarhus University Hospital has been treating children with a form of hemangioma – often referred to as strawberry marks – with a beta-blocker called propranolol. This has halved the number of children requiring an operation for the annoying hemangioma, according to the research project.

The senior management team has decided that the local liaison committees (LSUs) at the administrative divisions and administrative centres will in future refer to the Administration’s Liaison Committee (ASU). The decision was reached after a consultation on adjustments to the administration’s liaison committee structure.
