The risk of dying during pregnancy is five times higher for women with epilepsy

The absolute risk is small, but Consultant, DMSc, Jakob Christensen from the Department of Clinical Medicine and the Department of Neurology, Aarhus University Hospital, is nevertheless worried about significantly increased mortality for pregnant women with epilepsy in Denmark. This needs to be closely monitored, he says.

New hotline offers support and advice on matters concerning personal data

As a result of the great demand for advisory services concerning protection of personal data, Corporate Relations and Technology Transfer (TTO) now opens a new hotline on a trial basis. The new hotline can be used by members of AU staff who have specific questions concerning protection of personal data.

AU switchboard to introduce extended opening hours on 1 October

Starting on Monday 1 October, the AU switchboard will take calls between the hours of 9:00 and 15:00, Monday to Thursday, and between 9:00 and 14:00 on Friday.

A single university-wide WPA in 2019

In the spring of 2019, AU will conduct a workplace assessment (WPA). Unlike in previous years, the upcoming WPA survey will include questions about both the physical and the psychological workplace environment at AU. The questionnaire will also be simplified compared to previous years.
