New professor carries out research into the treatment of Parkinson's

Medical doctor and PhD Nicola Pavese has been appointed professor at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. He uses special brain scans to investigate the changes that occur in the brain of patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease.

New research reveals important limitations of FDG-PET scans of atherosclerosis

Nuclear medicine researchers from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital have developed a new method for precise interpretation of PET scans. The method demonstrates errors in the well-established FDG-PET scans of atherosclerotic arteries, which may impact the development of new therapies.

Biomedical researcher appointed adviser for responsible conduct of research
