New professor conducts research into the causes of Alzheimer's disease

In a new professorship financed by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Thomas Willnow will establish a new research group at Aarhus University. Here, he will study why diabetes and obesity are among the biggest risk factors of Alzheimer’s.

Anti-hepatitis medicine surprises

A new effective treatment of hepatitis C that was made available to all Danes last year, not only combats the virus, but is also effective against potentially fatal complications such as reduced liver functioning and cirrhosis. This is the result of a new study from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital.
