Biomedical researcher fights cancer cells using genetically modified viruses

Associate Professor David Olagnier from the Department of Biomedicine receives a Lundbeck Foundation Fellowship to conduct research into the treatment of prostate cancer and lung cancer with a genetically modified virus. He receives DKK 10 million over the next five years and will now be able to establish his own research group.

Joseph Lyons receives DKK 10 million from Lundbeckfonden to study cell membranes

Joseph Lyons is one of the nine talented researchers who will become a Lundbeckfonden fellow in 2020. And the grant that comes with the appointment enables him to establish his own research group and devote himself to research for the next five years at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics/DANDRITE, Aarhus University.

Smartphone data could be used to help tackle the next epidemic wave

Researchers working on a new research project analyse health data from smartphones and wearables in households where one of the residents has either had or suspected that they had corona. The project, which is supported by the Innovation Fund Denmark, aims to help families and general practitioners to tackle a possible second wave of Corona better.
