A virtual visit from Health’s Advisory Board resulted in a number of specific recommendations. The shared agenda comprised four items: Internationalisation of the degree programmes, external funding, recruitment and gender equality. But the departments also received other advice along the way.

Researchers discover new genetic causes of cannabis use disorder

An international research group with iPSYCH at the forefront has identified two places in our DNA which contribute to the risk of becoming addicted to cannabis. The researchers also found that the genetics underlying misuse are linked to a lower level of education.

Consultant, DMSc Martin Lind from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital is a new professor, department chair at the Department of Clinical Medicine. In his new position he will expand research in the field of orthopaedic surgery with particular focus on sports injuries.
