If you normally parking near or in the University Park, please note that some of these parking options will be unavailable in the period before and after the 90th anniversary celebration on 10 September and during the weekend after, when the students will be enjoying Denmark’s Biggest Friday Bar and Sports Day.
This includes the parking lots around the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Department of Chemistry.
See on the maps to the left which parking lots will be affected and when. Signs will be put up at the affected parking lots.
Be aware that during the days leading up to 10 September and on the day itself, heavy traffic in the streets around the University Park is to be expected. If you have any questions, you can always contact the volunteers and the guards in the area.
Alternative parking options are available here:
• Next to Kasernen south of building 1582-83.
• There are often empty spots in the parking lot on the corner of Nordre Ringgade/Trøjborgvej/Nørrebrogade (Lille Barnow). Only AU staff are allowed to park in this area.
• There are often empty spots on Katrinebjergvej and Jens Baggesens Vej.
NB: Please note that Ole Worms Allé will be closed Friday 10 September.
NB: The maps were updated on 3 September with new times for limits on parking availability.
NB: Update 9 September: Some adjustments may occur in regard to the parking lots that have been blocked off. If you have questions, please contact the security guards or volunteers on site.
