To set up two-step authentication, you will need:
Two-step authentication means that you add extra protection when you log on to a system or a service. In future, when you connect via AU-Access using two-step authentication, you must log in using your AU ID and your password as usual, and then accept the login via an app on your smartphone.
Two-step authentication has become standard for many of the services that we use online, for example Google, Apple and Facebook. AU introduces two-step authentication in order to comply with the rules in AU’s information security policy.
