New outdoor environment at the Aarhus School of Dentistry is underway

Grønnegården next to the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health will be transformed into an outdoor environment with orangeries, green areas and benches that both students and employees at Health can freely use. The construction work is expected to be completed before Christmas.

Students and staff at Health will soon be able to make use of Grønnegården’s new outdoor area. Here, a cosy environment is being created which can e.g. be used by employees for discussions with colleagues, for study group meetings, or for eating lunch. Access will be possible from the cafeteria at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health.

"The goal with Grønnegården is to create a good environment close to a shared cafeteria – for both employees and students," says Project Manager Olga Mabelenge.

New parking facilities

The new Grønnegården environment means that it is no longer possible to use the temporary parking spaces that were established on the site during the construction of the Skou Building. Instead, it is possible to park in the approx. 180 parking spaces which have been established around the Skou Building. Only disabled parking spaces remain in front of the main entrance to the department.
