Last chance to get hold of Horizon 2020 funding

The EU's work programme for health under Horizon 2020 has just been published. A total of up to EUR two billion is waiting for applications from the right researchers with the right health science projects. This is also the last chance to apply for Horizon 2020 funding.

The EU Health work programme covers the period 2018-2020, and this competitive call – which is also the final one under Horizon 2020 – contains five focus areas:

  • Personalised Medicine
  • Innovative Health and Care Industry
  • Infectious Diseases and Improving Global Health
  • Innovative Health and Care Systems – Integration of Care
  • Decoding the Role of the Environment for Health and Well-Being

Each focus area contains additional specific topics, sub-tasks and types of funding.

All work programmes and calls can be found on the Participant Portal or on the Research Support Office’s website under the 'Societal Challenges' section.

Please note that some of the recently published announcements have deadlines as early as February 2018.
