Statistical analysis of quantitative data is a cornerstone of health science research. The development of new statistical methods and their dissemination is an important factor in the quality of health science research.

With the grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Erik Thorlund Parner can continue his project to develop new statistical methods for the analysis of two types of data that are often seen in health science research – data on waiting times and data with missing observations. The grant of DKK 1,776,600 will be used over the next three years to finance the employment of PhD student Morten Overgaard in a postdoc position.
