The Dean: We have to broaden our international horizon

The key endeavour for Health in 2020 will be internationalisation. Researchers, educators and students alike will have the opportunity to meet the world outside of Aarhus University and exchange knowledge and practice, says Dean Lars Bo Nielsen in his holiday greeting.

Health's dean Lars Bo Nielsen wishes all employees a happy holiday season while giving a little preview on one of the faculty's strategic focus areas of 2020.

In a time where the need to find common solutions to global societal challenges is greater than ever, the universities, with their strong tradition for international cooperation, must play a central role.

So reads the proposal for Aarhus University's new strategy, and therefore, the vision to bridge Denmark to the world is also central to Health's strategy for 2020.

In this year's Christmas greeting, Dean Lars Bo Nielsen is urging us to gaze out into the world and expand the international horizon.
