As a researcher, you must be able to communicate your research. That research needs to be seen and heard and it is your responsibility as a researcher to ensure that this happens. The autumn courses introduce participants to understandable, catchy and responsible research communication and provide specific tools that can be used in all communication contexts. The courses are aimed at everyone who wants to become better at communicating their own research field to journalists, funding providers and other non-academics.

The Central Denmark Region and Aarhus University, Health, collaborate on providing a range of courses in research communication which will be held at different locations including Aarhus University Hospital, the regional hospitals and the Regional Headquarters in Viborg. The courses cover a palette of communication tasks faced by researchers: Communication planning; the best ways to present your research; handling meetings with journalists; and how to actively utilise social media in your research communication.

All of the autumn 2019 courses are free of charge for PhD students and cost DKK 350 for all other researchers. The courses will be in Danish.
