AU’s IT systems and other services will be subject to a certain amount of disruption at various points during the weekend of 06 and 07 February 2021.

AU IT and AU Finance and Estates Projects and Development will carry out a planned service window from Saturday 06 February at 00:01 to Sunday 07 February at 23:59. Necessary updates to systems, etc. will be carried out to ensure students and employees at AU that IT, telefony, electricity etc. operate with the greatest possible degree of functionality, stability, and security.
You will be able to use AV equipment locally in lecture theatres/classrooms throughout the weekend, but of course ONLY if AU is open again that weekend*. You will be able to work locally on your computer –i.e. without being connected to central IT systems, shared drives, the video centre, AU’s network and internet through AU.
Overall timeline for the service window:
On Saturday from 06:00 to 23:59 at the latest, there will be periodic disruptions on networks, wireless network, files (Isilon throughout the weekend), mit.au.dk and several systems due to system updates and system and equipment replacements. Saturday morning, there will be a planned power cut in building 2628 as a result of maintenance work.
On Sunday from 07:00 to 20:00 at the latest, there will be periodic disruptions to REDcap, PostAU, Syllebus, Inteum, ProMark, Files (Isilon), STADS, EDDI, PostAU, GitLab, several named Linux servers, IDM, financial and BI systems, the integration platform (several systems including mit.au.dk), as well as the AU website complex due to system updates.
