On 13 to 16 November 2017, academic staff and students at AU will elect representatives to the university's numerous councils, boards and committees.

This year, students are eligible to vote for representatives to AU’s board, the academic councils, the PhD committees and the boards of studies. Members of academic staff can vote for representatives to the boards of studies and PhD committees.

If you are interested in standing for election, you can register as a candidate for a body (board or committee) from Monday 23 October at 9:00 to Friday 27 October at 12:00. However, it is a good idea to submit your candidacy registration form as early as possible in the period so that any errors can be corrected before the deadline expires.

Check your voting rights well in advance of the election. You can do so by logging in to the election system with your civil registration number and your password for Self-service (mit.au.dk). When you have logged in to the election system, you can see which bodies you can vote for and when.
New employees who are not included in the second payroll run in September (19 September 2017) will not be automatically assigned voting rights. If you belong to this group, you can contact the Election Secretariat valg@au.dk in order to be granted voting rights..
You can cast your vote electronically at au.dk/valg during the election period 13 November at 9:00 – 16 November at 16:00.
Log on to the system with your user name and password for Self-service (mit.au.dk). You cannot vote by post or by paper ballot.
