Aarhus University Hospital was today awarded the title of Denmark’s best hospital by the Danish healthcare newspaper Dagens Medicin. The hospital wins the title because of the high quality of its patient treatment.

A grant from the Carlsberg Foundation now makes it possible for Mahboobeh Amoushahi from Aarhus University to examine the quality of eggs in the ovaries at both molecular and biochemical level. She hopes that her research will in the long term help women with reduced fertility.

This Advanced Course will bring together world experts in examining memory (and the engrams that support them) at multiple levels of analysis from synapses and neurons to circuits and systems applying a variety of different techniques to animal models in health and diseases. The course will take place on Island of San Servolo, Venice, Italy.
