Parkinson's disease is also present in the blood

Though Parkinson’s disease is primarily seen as a brain disorder, researchers from Aarhus University have now discovered that the disease can be measured in the blood as an imbalance in the immune system. This indicates that a treatment targeting only neurons might not be sufficient on its own.
