Process for updating of the national roadmap for research infrastructure

As the majority of the projects on the current national roadmap for research infrastructure have been completed, the National Committee for Research Infrastructures (NUFI) has decided to prepare an updated roadmap for research infrastructure.

First steps taken in the Blackboard implementation process

AU has purchased a basic e-learning system, Blackboard. Now it’s time to start using the system in earnest and tailoring it to users’ requirements.

The problem analysis leads to changes

At a staff meeting on Wednesday 22 October, Dean Allan Flyvbjerg made an announcement about the changes that will take effect at Health as a result of the internal problem analysis. At the same time, he initiated a process to discuss how the decisions will be implemented in practice.

In 2012 Holger Jon Møller wrote an article on macrophages and biomarkers for inflammatory diseases. The Norwegian Eldjarn Foundation has rewarded the high quality of both the article and the research behind it.

Recognition for AU research into biomarkers

Professor and Consultant Holger Jon Møller has received The Eldjarn Prize of DKK 100,000. The prize was awarded for his research into markers for inflammatory diseases.

Decisions based on a solid foundation

First, employees at Aarhus University identified the problems. Next, they identified and commented on proposed solutions. On this basis, the senior management team has reached a range of decisions and designed a plan for the next stages of the problem-solving process.

In his daily work Per Hove Thomsen is affiliated with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Centre as professor and consultant. With his appointment as professor, centre chair he will become deputy department head at the Department of Clinical Medicine.
