Non-severe infections can cause serious mental disorders

A new study shows that non-severe infections that do not require hospitalisation can also increase the risk of subsequently developing schizophrenia or depression.

Research will now show the most rational way to move from symptom to clarification when there is a suspicion of cancer.

Taking a closer, international look at the path from cancer symptom to clarification

Leading researchers from Great Britain, the USA and Aarhus University have received GBP five million to test which diagnostic path prior to treatment gives greater survival rates in cases of cancer. One source of inspiration is the "Danish model"; the key is to understand the process from symptom to clarification and diagnosis.

CaP is partner in international project about the pathway from cancer diagnosis to start of treatment

A group of international scientists from the UK, USA and CaP, Aarhus University have been granted £5 million to test which diagnostic pathways will result in better survival before start of treatment. The inspiration comes from the Danish model, the key to understand the process from symptoms to clarification and final diagnosis. (In Danish).

New international honorary professor at Aarhus University
