Noemi Mermet-Joret is prolonged as postdoctoral fellow in Sadegh Nabavi group

Noemi Mermet-Joret continues as postdoc in Group Leader Sadegh Nabavi's group per 29 October 2019 until end October 2021. Noemi is working with amygdala circuitry processing relating to innate and learned fear behaviors. The project aims to decorticate the amygdala circuitry processing both innate and learned fear behaviors.

Here is the new degree programme in medicine

New academic regulations for the Bachelor's and Master's degree programme in Medicine have now been approved. Better coherence between the courses, changes in clinical training and greater freedom of choice for the students are the most important changes. The new regulations will come into force for the autumn semester 2020.

Erhoff awards are a double triumph for researchers from Health

Two researchers from the Department of Clinical Medicine have received awards from the Erhoff Foundation this year. Professor, Department Chair Henrik Toft Sørensen from the Department of Clinical Epidemiology is being honoured with the Erhoff Award, while Associate Professor Lars Wiuff Andersen receives the Talent Prize.

Professor and PrConsultant Lene Hjerrild Iversen is this year's recipient of the Lippmann-prize.

Award winner makes a difference for patients with colorectal cancer

Lene Hjerrild Iversen, professor and consultant at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital, has been awarded the Lippmann Prize 2019. As a surgeon and cancer researcher, she receives the award in recognition of the difference she makes – in particular for patients with colorectal cancer.
