Well-known molecule not found in cancer cells after all

A new research result from Aarhus University shows that a so-called circular RNA molecule, which has been designated as carcinogenic, is actually not found in the cancer cells. The results have just been published in Nature Communications.

AU IT to relocate to the University City

In 2022, AU IT will move from its current premises on Helsingforsgade to a new central location on the north side of the University City. AU IT will now begin the process of clarifying what the unit’s employees need and want from their new premises.

New passage between the University Park and the University City

The process of opening up a new underground passage at the northern end of the University Park is now beginning. The passage will literally connect the yellow and red buildings.

Professor with music on the brain receives DKK 46 million towards basic research

Brain researcher and jazz musician Peter Vuust receives DKK 46 million from the Danish National Research Foundation for an extension of the Center for Music in the Brain at Aarhus University and the Royal Academy of Music. The grant will be used to investigate what happens in our brains when we listen to, sing and play music together.
