Peritoneal dialysis is a renal replacement therapy. The thickness of the peritoneal membrane and the collagen layer are known to be markers of peritoneum dysfunction. This study aims to develop a method based on multi-photon microscopy to study the functioning of the peritoneal membrane during dialysis exchange.
