Welcome to Tomas Heger, who has started as PhD student in Poul Nissen's group

Tomas is new PhD student in Poul Nissen Group, where he will be working on the copper-transporting ATPase ATP7B and its Wilson disease-associated mutant form. The main focus of his studies will be characterizing interactions of the protein and hit compounds as potential leads for the treatment of this hepato-neurological disease.

Prof. Jens Leipziger has been elected a fellow of the The International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS)

The honor is awarded to those who have made exceptional contributions to physiological sciences, in the form of original discovery, sustained excellent contributions to scholarship, or (exceptionally) those who in other ways have rendered a conspicuous service to physiology.

Christiane Vejlø, born 1973, runs the media and consultancy agency Elektronista which produces digital lifestyle content for a number of platforms. New outdoor environment at the Aarhus School of Dentistry is underway

Grønnegården next to the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health will be transformed into an outdoor environment with orangeries, green areas and benches that both students and employees at Health can freely use. The construction work is expected to be completed before Christmas.
